Con algunas ceremonias en Francia, Inglaterra y EEUU se conmemoró un aniversario más del Día D o Desembarco de Normandía. Aquel 6 de junio de 1944, unos 155 mil hombres de Reino Unido, Estados Unidos Y Canadá, principalmente, con la intención de recuperar a Europa, en manos de los nazis de Adolfo Hitler, en uno de los acontecimientos que marcaron el comienzo del fin de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
