La gigante con sede en Cupertino, California, reveló en un evento en San Francisco los detalles de la disponibilidad de su reloj inteligente Apple Watch, que significa que ya también se podrá usar para pagos móviles con Apple Pay.
Apple anunció en septiembre que el servicio de pagos móviles, Apple Pay, iba a estar disponible sólo para el celular iPhone 6 y el tabléfono iPhone 6 Plus, porque serían los primeros teléfonos de Apple con el sistema operativo iOS 8, la tecnología de comunicación de campo corto (NFC, por sus siglas en inglés) y un chip de seguridad llamado Secure Element dentro del reloj. Ahora el Apple Watch se convierte en el próximo dispositivo de la familia Apple con esta capacidad.
