This greedy puffin answers the question: 'who ate all the fish?'. The hungry bird was spotted with its beak stuffed full of little fish in the Farne Islands by 17-year-old wildlife photographer Will Nicholls. Puffins have specialised beaks that enable them to carry a large number of fish at the same time. They will push each fish to the back of their mouth with their tongue, where ridges at the top of their bill secure them in place. This allowsthe puffin to keep their mouth open to catch more fish - finally ending up with an overflowing mouthful.
